One of the most common issues we receive calls about, is people being unable to receive emails on their mobile devices after they have had to change passwords on the domain.

Domain passwords are normally set to expire after 45 days, when this happens people tend to forget an important step in this process. When you’ve changed the pass word on the domain you need to change your password on all of your mobile devices.

Failing to change the password on your mobile devices will cause your account to get locked out. The reason behind this is that your mobile device will try to retrieve emails from the server and offer the wrong password. The server will deny access as the wrong password has been offered, after three attempts the sever will lock your account.

So, every time you change your password, update all your mobile devices with the new password.
